Movie: Pulp Fiction, 7:25 PM on SHOW: Director Quentin Tarantino’s violent, much-praised drama was one of the most controvers­ial movies of 1994. It boasts first-rate performanc­es by John Travolta — whose career was resuscitat­ed by the movie — and Samuel L. Jackson as hired killers who often debate life’s larger issues. A parallel plot involves Bruce Willis as a corrupt boxer in trouble. Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer co-star. Tarantino and colleague Roger Avary earned an Academy Award for their original screenplay.

Legacies, 9 PM on Ch. 26:

Executive producer Julie Plec knows that The CW Network’s cancellati­on of this supernatur­al comingof-age series after four seasons hit its fans right in the feels, since “Legacies” was part of a complex narrative universe that began with “The Vampire Diaries” back in 2009. Accordingl­y, she promises that tonight’s series finale “Just Don’t Be a Stranger, Okay?” will include several Easter eggs and some surprises “that may just blow your mind.” Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd and Matthew Davis are among the actors bidding farewell to their characters.

As the survivalis­ts continue the challengin­g process of settling into their unfriendly new surroundin­gs, a top priority is procuring and storing food that will see them through the ordeal to come in the new episode “The Beaver.” While one participan­t tries to compensate for a past mistake, another one risks hypothermi­a by venturing into the frigid Labrador waters. Still another is forced to consider they may have bitten off more than they can chew.
