HUMANE SOCIETY PET OF THE WEEK

-

Name: Bucky

Age: 5 years old

Breed: Pit bull/terrier mix Color: Fawn and white Gender: Male

Neutered: Yes

Why he is special: This silly guy is Bucky. Bucky was found in an abandoned car, confiscated by our Humane Society agent and brought to the shelter for safety and to find his forever home. Bucky is a silly, sweet and happy boy. He has a goofy and fun personality and will make you laugh and smile every day. He has great energy to go on walks or hikes, but can also settle down and just hang out with you. One of his favorite things is belly rubs, and he will plop right over for them. He is super social and seems to love pretty much everyone he meets. Since we don’t know much about his past, we recommend he meet any new dog friends before going home with them. He may need some help with basic training skills once in a new home but seems to be a people pleaser, so he should pick up on new skills quickly. Bucky would be a fun dog for anyone who adopts him.

Discount: Because November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month, we are taking 75% off all adoptions of animals that are 5 years old or older. If you think Bucky is the perfect fit for your home, then go online to www.hsdayton.org/adopt and fill out an application.

Where to adopt: Humane

Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Road, Dayton, OH 45417
