NEIGHBORS MIAMI COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTIONS

From Miami County Public Health reports:

A&R

Address: 2 N. Market St., Troy Date of inspection: Nov. 1 Violations/comments: Critical: Person in charge not ensuring employees are properly sanitizing equipment and utensils. PIC stated pop nozzles are pulled and scrubbed with sanitizer water, then soaked in soda water overnight prior to being put back on the nozzles. Informed PIC of process to follow. PIC was not ensuring employees were effectively cleaning their hands; PIC unable to demonstrate knowledge by having no critical violations; PIC unable to demonstrate knowledge of temperatures and times for cooling. Critical: Observed the following: Employee rinsed hands in hand sink without applying soap, prep employee rinsed hands without removing gloves. Hand sink in kitchen inaccessible. No soap at hand-washing sink in kitchen. Hand soap dispenser placed at hand sink. Corrected during inspection: Uncovered bins of food in coolers covered, soda nozzles pulled after observed moldlike buildup, date marking corrected on some items, items outdated voluntarily discarded. Three-compartment sink with gap at wall. Reseal sink. Repeat: Inoperable thermometer in cooler, dishwasher leaking onto floor, defrost freezer, food debris buildup on floors and ceiling tiles in kitchen.

Oh Crepe

Address: 79 Fossway, Troy Date of inspection Nov. 10 Violations/comments: Corrected during inspection, critical: Eggs stored above ready-to-eat foods. Eggs should be stored under ready-to-eat foods. Eggs were moved. Observed butter, water and crepe batter with no observable time marks. Foods were time marked.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar

Address: 2313 W. Main St., Troy Date of inspection: Nov. 8 Violations/comments: Hand-washing sink below 100 degrees F. Observed water temperature within facility below required temperature.

Piqua Junior High School

Address: 1 Tomahawk Trail, Piqua Date of inspection: Nov. 14 Violations/comments: Corrected during inspection, Critical, Observed can opener with food debris. Can openers pulled for cleaning. Observed rodent droppings in dry storage area. Person in charge said area cleaned last week. Pest control to be called.
