‘Ready, Set, Grow!’ workshops being held
Through partnership with Central State University, Trotwood hosts four free workshop sessions to help aspiring start-ups and existing businesses clarify their business models.
From 6 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday in February, individuals are encouraged to register (https:// tinyurl.com/EntreToolkit) and join in for this interactive workshop. The Entrepreneur Toolkit is an interactive workshop series with CSU Extension Community & Economic Development’s “Ready, Set, Grow!” small business program. By the conclusion of the workshop training, participants will have a business model and canvas, and have identified the next steps to launch and grow their business.

Construction job fair set for Wednesday
Montgomery County’s Construction
Job Fair is set for Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sinclair Conference Center, 444 W. Third St., Dayton.
The fair features dozens of local companies hiring for a variety of positions, including construction laborers, HVAC specialists, CDL drivers, project managers and maintenance technicians. There will also be many positions in skilled trades, like electricians, pipe fitters, millwrights, plumbers and more.
Attendees can learn more about construction-related job opportunities and community development in Dayton.
“The Job Fair offers many positions with competitive wages for our residents who like to work with their hands,” Montgomery County Commission President Debbie Lieberman said. “There is so much development happening in our area. Employers are excited about this, and we hope hundreds of citizens come out to fill these jobs.”
