DML hosts free legal clinics

Dayton Metro Library will host free Record Sealing and Driver’s License Reinstatem­ent Legal Help Clinics at various locations throughout 2023.

The next clinic, Driver’s License Reinstatem­ent, is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at the Main Library, Community Room, 215 E. 3rd St., Dayton. Patrons can meet with attorneys and local court profession­als to discuss what may be prohibitin­g one from obtaining a license and approaches to license re-instatemen­t. This clinic is a walk-in event, with assistance provided on a first-come, first-serve basis until 3:30 p.m.

Partners for the clinic include: the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender, the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project, the Montgomery County Office of Reentry, Dayton Clerk of Courts, Kettering Municipal Court, Montgomery County Clerk of Courts, Vandalia Municipal Court, and Miamisburg Municipal Court.

DPS holds hiring event Monday

The Dayton Public School District is hiring for all positions at an All Staff Hiring Event from 1 to 4 p.m. today in the DPS Community Room, 115 S. Ludlow St. in downtown Dayton (corner of Ludlow Street and Fourth Street).

Open positions include paraprofes­sionals, bus drivers, teachers, mechanics and food service personnel, among others.

Interested candidates should bring a resume, references, and be prepared for an on-thespot interview. Job offers may be extended at the time of the interview.
