ENGLEWOOD (Feb. 16) — Police were called to Meijer about a man who stole a box of Pokémon cards and fled the store. While working in the area of the store to locate the man, a postal employee gave police a large box he said was found near his postal vehicle on the street. The box contained the Pokémon cards. The man was apprehende­d and charged with theft and taken to a local hospital for a medical complaint.

ENGLEWOOD (Feb. 21) —

The owners of a dog that somehow got out of their fenced yard and damaged a vehicle at another residence said they would pay for any damage. The woman whose car was damaged said she arrived home to see the dog she didn’t know come from around her house. Not knowing the dog’s demeanor, she got back into the car with the dog proceeding to scratch the doors several times. The dog was identified through a chip and the owner came to retrieve him. The owner was cited for failure to control the dog.

ENGLEWOOD (Feb. 21) — A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating on the wall outside a room at a motel. A woman told police she heard something and saw the man urinating on a wall and heater vent around 10:45 p.m. Police said the man was located nearby, charged and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

SPRINGCREE­K TWP., Miami County (March 7) — Sheriff’s deputies were called in reference to a possible sex offense. They found a male juvenile had sent a photograph sexual in nature to an unknown person. The person subsequent­ly demanded $50 or said the photo would be sent to the juvenile’s family. Deputies said the case was pending.

TIPP CITY (March 7) — Police called to help unlock a vehicle said drugs were seen within plain sight in the vehicle. The owner was cited for drug possession, according to reports.
