Art, entertainment theatre and history abound
Springboro Community Theatre presents the musical “Big Fish” on Feb. 23-25 and March 1-3. That performance will be followed by “Life Unscripted,” an improvisation show, March 9, at the Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way.

Gallery showcases ‘Heart of the Arts’
The Springboro Performing Arts Center hosts the “Heart of the Arts” exhibit through Feb. 26. Featuring alumni, staff and friends of the innovative Living Arts Center (1966-1977), the show features painting, photography, textiles, jewelry and mixed media.

Free movie for kids at the PAC
The city of Springboro presents “Lilo and Stitch,” on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Springboro Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way. Show times are noon and 2 p.m. Concessions available and each child can make a craft. Admission is free and no tickets are needed. Museum extends hours, offerings
Although the Springboro Area Historical Society and Museum slow down during the winter months, programs are still ongoing
New this year, the museum, at 110 S. Main St., is open 1-4 p.m. Wednesday afternoons through March 27. Visitors are invited to explore exhibits as well as many resources for genealogy research.
Historical presentations are offered at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at the Old Stone Church.
Reading Between the Wines will be offered Feb. 21, March 20 and April 17. A partnership with local author Jan Irvin, this series features local authors and poets reading their historical-themed work, paired with fine wines and charcuterie board creations. Seating is limited and tickets are required.
