GREENE COUNTY RESTAURANT INSPECTION­S

The following are summaries of the state of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Greene County Combined Health District, from the week Jan. 29 to Feb. 2. District informatio­n is available online at https://www. yourfoodsa­fety.com/greene/.

Cake, Hope & Love

1490 N. Fairfield Road, Beavercree­k Date of inspection: Feb. 2 Violations: Found the handwashin­g sink in the kitchen with the hot water turned off due to repair issues. This must be accessible and available for staff to wash hands at all times. Found cardboard on shelving in the refrigerat­or. All material where food is placed must be a smooth, non-absorbent and cleanable material. Remove cardboard. Table and plastic guard around mixing bowl. All shelving where cake decorating supplies are stored, shelf under prep and decorating tables, top of ovens, shelving below cashier counter. Repair or replace hand sink in the kitchen. Water (hot & cold) must be kept on at all times and the faucet shall work as manufactur­ed. Replace missing coving in retail area. If base board behind coving is in disrepair, replace the baseboard for the coving to adhere to it. Repeat. Found all flooring in need of detailed cleaning. Remove matts at three compartmen­t sink, clean around grease trap, move all equipment on casters and clean, clean under oven, clean walls where food splash has occurred. Clean area leading to the mop room to be able to access the mop sink. Comments: PIC was verbally informed of all violations noted during inspection. All signatures and initials on the inspection report have been digitally signed and agreed upon by both the PIC and the inspector. Inspection report will be emailed to PIC. A reinspecti­on is required. The hand sink in the kitchen must be repaired to have hot & cold water working at all times, no leak and no splashing. The has been a repeat violation for years! All cleaning is expected to be completed.

Hot Head Burritos

3800 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn Date of inspection: Jan. 29 Violations: PIC could not provide proof that employees are being trained on 13 reportable foodborne illnesses and how to report them. Emailed form to PIC so that training can be completed with all employees. Will re-check at next standard inspection. Observed the guacamole in the front make table to be temping at 48 degrees F a time of inspection. Please ensure that all cold TCS foods are kept at 41 degrees F or less to prevent possible foodborne illness. PIC corrected. Observed the door seal to the walk in cooler to be cracking. Please replace. Cleaning - frequency and restrictio­ns. 1. Observed the ceiling vents and grates above the 3 comp sink to be dirty. Please clean. 2. Observed the floor under the front self service counter to be dirty. Please clean. Observed personal coats, sweatshirt­s and purses hanging on the stock shelve racks next to food. PIC corrected. Comments: Please have all violations corrected prior to next standard inspection. PIC was verbally informed of all violations noted during inspection. All signatures and initials on the inspection report have been digitally signed and agreed upon by both the PIC and the inspector. Inspection report will be emailed to PIC.
