Fort Wayne Internatio­nal Airport to host mobile global entry enrollment

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Fort WayneAllen County Airport Authority will host a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) temporary Mobile Global Entry enrollment event at Fort Wayne Internatio­nal Airport from Monday, March 14, 2022, through Friday, March 18, 2022.

Anyone who travels internatio­nally, including the business community and frequent travelers, is invited to enroll in this program to enjoy expedited clearance at select airports for approved travelers upon arrival back in the United States. When arriving to the United States, Global Entry members can save time in the customs process with expedited clearance utilizing automated Global Entry kiosks. Other benefits of Global Entry include avoiding processing lines and paperwork, access to expedited entry benefits in other countries, reduced wait times, and all TSA Pre check benefits.

In order to reserve an appointmen­t time during FWA’s Mobile Global Entry enrollment event, those interested must apply for Global Entry on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) website and create a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) account.

How to Apply for Global Entry

1. Crea te a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) account. Each applicant, regardless of age, must have their own TTP account.

2. Log in to the TTP account and complete the applicatio­n. $100 non-refundable fee is required with each completed applicatio­n.

3. After accepting a completed applicatio­n and fee, the applicatio­n will be reviewed. If the applicatio­n is conditiona­lly approved, then the GOES account will instruct the applicant to schedule an interview at a Global Entry

Enrollment Center. Applicants will be able to select FWA by the dates of the Mobile Enrollment event. Each applicant must schedule a separate interview time slot.

4. Applicants need to bring a valid passport and one other form of identifica­tion, such as a driver’s license or ID card to the interview. Lawful permanent residents must present a machine-readable permanent resident card.

The FWA Mobile Global Entry Enrollment event will be held in the airport terminal building in the landside Business Center located at Baggage Claim B. Parking will be validated by the airport. Space is limited to 60 applicants per day, with appointmen­t times available to individual applicants by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Appointmen­t times will be scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm and walk-up appointmen­ts will not be accepted.
