Scott Pollock
Scott A. Pollock, 61, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Scott was born in Decatur, IN, on June 25, 1961, son of the late James G. and Dorothy J. (Baer) Pollock.
He was a 1979 graduate of Bellmont High School. For the past 8 years Scott has been employed by FCC in Berne and prior to that he worked for Goldshield for 16 years. Scott attended Grace Fellowship Church.
Scott enjoyed fishing, golfing, collecting baseball cards, and gardening. He loved his 3 dogs, Faith Ann, Bailey and Chase. He enjoyed sports and was a diehard fan of the Indiana Hoosiers, the Chicago Bears, and the Cincinnati Reds.
He is survived by his significant other of 23 years, Wanda Potter of Decatur; a son, Logan (Maggi Garcia) Pollock of Lebanon, IN; 1 daughter, Jessica (Tim Gilbert) Pollock of Cloverdale, IN; 2 step-sons, Randy Potter of Mountain City, TN and Robert Potter of Toughkenamon, PA; 2 sisters, Vicki (Kurt) Henkel of Fremont, Ohio and Cheryl (Steve) Campbell of Angola; 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home with calling 1 hour prior to service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan York will be officiating and burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be made to Stillwater Hospice.
