Berne councilwoman files for new term

Filings for the upcoming spring primary election in Adams County are continuing with the Adams County Clerk’s Office reporting one new entry onto the list of candidates on Tuesday.

Current Republican city councilwoman Kelly A. Amstutz, W. Water Street, Berne, has filed for a new four-year term on the Berne council. Amstutz is one of four GOP members on the council and represents district two, but is the only one that has filed to date for a new term. Berne Mayor Gregg A. Lehman announced last week he would also be seeking a new term subject to the voters and has filed his candidacy.

Candidates for office have until noon on Friday, February 3 to file to be included on the primary ballot in May.
