February 24

12:20 a.m. — Assisted on traffic stop on N. Main Street, Geneva. Male subject with no short term memory who lives in Jay County, was found. Person was lost so police called his son who arrived a short time later to pick him up.

1:45 a.m. — Welfare check on Summerset Lane. Department of Child Services was notified.

4:10 a.m. — Suspicious vehicle reported near the Berne Library. Police discovered male driver inside the vehicle sleeping. Man said he had to be at work at a nearby business but had gotten into Berne early so he decided to nap while waiting for the business to open.

7:59 a.m. — Keys locked in vehicle on Stucky Street.

11:46 p.m. — Traffic stop on Parr Road with Matthew Beaty issued a citation for having an expired license plate.

February 25

12:29 a.m. — Traffic stop at US 27 and Parr Road with warning issued to the driver.

12:47 a.m. — Traffic stop at Village Way and Parkway Street with minor in the vehicle discovered to be in possession of tobacco.

1:13 a.m. — Traffic stop on Village Way with warning issued to the driver.

2:22 a.m. — Open door on garage reported on Parr Road. Police noted it appeared the floor of the garage had recently been refinished and it appeared the door was open to help ventilate the area.

2:46 a.m. — Welfare check on Deborah Lane. Person found sleeping in a car and he told police he was homeless.

1:25 p.m. — Traffic stop on US 27.

February 26

10:29 a.m. — Domestic situation reported on Deborah Lane but male subject had left the scene before police arrive.
