Nancy Marbaugh
Nancy Jane (Christener) Marbaugh, 80, of Willshire, OH, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, and went from her earthly home to her heavenly home, to be with the God she so faithfully served. She was born to the late Roger and Dorothy (Ritter) Christener on May 19, 1943. She married Larry Marbaugh on May 9, 1970, and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2014. They were married almost 44 years.
Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Adams Central High School She held several office jobs, including Zintsmaster in Decatur She was also employed in dietary at Woodcrest Nursing Home in Decatur, retiring after 30 years of service.
She was a member of Praise Point Church in Willshire, OH. Nancy was very active in her church, spent a lot of her time cooking and baking, especially for the elderly, before her health started to decline.
She is survived by a brother, Jerry (Judy) Christener of Van Wert, OH; 2 sons, Matthew “Matt” (Deb) Marbaugh of Decatur, IN, and Mark (Karen Blank) Marbaugh of Delaware, OH; 2 granddaughters, Cassie & Alexis Marbaugh of Decatur, IN; a grandson, Noah Marbaugh of Delaware, OH.
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” … and now I have won the prize.
Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Praise Pointe Church, in Willshire, Ohio, with Pastor Brandon Baker officiating. Burial will take place in Willshire Cemetery at a later date.
