McDonald’s plans special 313 Day meal around Detroit area
Next Wednesday isn’t just another day. It’s March 13, or 313 Day, and McDonald’s is celebrating in the Detroit area with a special meal that includes a Vernors Boston cooler and free T-shirts designed by a Royal Oak company.
Don’t worry if you don’t live in the 313 area code. Some McDonald’s restaurants in the areas covered by the 248, 734 and 586 area codes are also participating.
According to a news release, on March 13 only, customers can order a meal that includes a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, McDonald’s World Famous Fries, a medium Dr Pepper and a Vernors Boston Cooler, which features the classic Detroit soda and ice cream.
March 13 is the only day the Vernors Boston cooler will be offered at participating McDonald’s restaurants. Plus, the first 30 guests to order the meal will get a free, specially designed long-sleeve T-shirt from Royal Oakbased company The Dirt Label.

And collaborating with two iconic Detroit brands, Vernors and The Dirt Label, is a testament to our commitment to celebrating Detroit and its vibrant community.”
The special deal is offered at only select McDonald’s. The participating locations are: 1481 Opdyke Road, Auburn Hills.
