Fire Replicas FDNY Tower Ladders and Boston E-One Engines
1:50 | Prices TBD
Coming in June are two new sets of rigs for the big-city fire departments of New York and Boston. The FDNY trucks are Tower Ladders—a set of three Seagrave 75-foot Aerialscope IIs—the first ever of this specific model for Fire Replicas and the first Tower Ladder of any type in nearly two years. Each model features more than 850 parts, and each is authentic in graphics and accessories to the respective ladder companies. Fire Replicas just signed a new partnership with Boston, and this pair represents the first E-One Typhoon Pumpers ever for the Boston Fire Department. They comprise more than 450 parts each and are identical—with the exception of the engine and shop numbers, and the license plates, reflecting Boston’s effort to standardize its fleet. Both the New York and Boston trucks will be produced in runs of 125 units for each design.
