Model Car Hall of Fame Opens Nominations for 2018

Organizers of the Model Car Hall of Fame (formerly the Diecast Hall of Fame) have greatly expanded the number of categories for this year, so they have rebranded the organization to more accurately reflect the inclusion of model kits and slot cars as well as traditional diecast. There are a bunch of new scales and genre categories too. And now that those have been added, the Hall has officially opened nominations for the 2018 inductees. Nominating for a category is easy. Just go to the website and click on the “Submit a Nomination” button in the upper right-hand corner. Fill out the form that pops up and click “Submit.” Later in the summer, the Hall selection committee will narrow the list of nominees to a list of finalists for each category, and public voting will take place in August and September, leading up to the awards presentation in November. Be sure to check the MCHoF website to follow along and to cast your vote once public voting opens.
