Jeep has a reputation for unstoppable off-road prowess, but Mount’n Goat takes it to a whole new level. This MPC kit reissues a popular custom Jeep and adds a ton of optional parts, allowing builders to make the Commando in their own way. Three sets of wheels, two tire choices, open top or closed hardtop bodywork, and an expanded decal sheet with two distinct sets of decals are just some of the options delivered by MPC’s kit. The Mount’n Goat is molded in metallic pearl blue plastic, chrome, and clear plastic parts. The tires are our favorite option: stock-size knobby tires and a set of huge ’70s-era Formula Desert Dog tires—the perfect complement to the full off-road version. Another period-correct touch we appreciate is the double-tube custom roll cage, with its set of spotlights, the jumbo hood cowl, and the whip antenna. And then there’s the Retro Deluxe packaging, which fits the 1970s’ vibe perfectly. We’re going to have fun building this one!
