On page 10 Auto World showed us its 1:18-scale interpretation of the secondgeneration Chevy C10, and here we see their take on the third-gen “Square Body” C10 Cheyenne in both smooth-flank Fleetside and Stepside styles, with both stock ride height and as a lowered custom. These new castings have just arrived as part of 2019 Release 2; Auto World expects them to be hugely popular and we agree. They include engine detail, and both versions were made possible by molding the cab and bed separately. And because the metal chassis is also separate they were able to do the Fleetside lowered with custom wheels, while the Stepsidewears the stock setup. By doing the bed and chassis separately they also have the option to do K-series 4x4s as well as long-bed, dually, and other variations too! Premium Release2 is a 6-car set, rounded out by a ’62 Impala SS convertible, a ’64 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, a ’74 Buick Estate Wagon and a 2011 Corvette Z06 in commemorative Gulf Racing colors.
