FINAL THOUGHTS

It took balls for Ford to introduce a new GT350R. It took balls and brilliance to build a car so without compromise that it deserves that hallowed nameplate. Ol’ Shel knew a thing or two about balls and brilliance. I suspect he would have approved of this new R—then he’d have grabbed a wrench and set to making it even faster! I certainly approve of AUTOart’s 1:18 version. Sure, there are one or two minor details that could use some wrenching too, but the important stuff—the unique aerodynamics, the Voodoo V-8, and those wheels—is all here. This new GT350 is worthy of the name, and this model is worthy of your shelf!
