Davidson’s latest romance may be with ‘Bridgerton’s’ Dynevor
Pete Davidson continues a pattern of being romantically linked to attractive and talented female celebrities by reportedly spending time with Phoebe Dynevor, one of the breakout stars of “Bridgerton.”
Page Six reported that the “Saturday Night Live” comedian, 27, and the British actress, 25, who shot to fame playing Daphne Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series, have been keeping company in both the U.K. and New York. This past Sunday, Davidson was spotted in Altrincham, a historic market town outside Manchester, England, which happens to be where Dynevor was born and grew up.
A British fan posted a selfie with Davidson on Facebook, writing, “Bizarre Altrincham spot of the day … Pete Davidson in the market quarter … he’s staying over in Altrincham with friends.” Page Six reported that Dynevor has been living in the Manchester area with her mother, Sally Dynevor, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sally Dynevor also is an actress who appears in the long-running British soap opera “Coronation Street.”
In February, Dynevor visited New York, where Davidson lives and works on “Saturday Night Live.” The actress posted photos of Brooklyn on Instagram with the caption, “Grateful I got to be here for a hot sec,” adding a heart emoji. Around that time, Dynevor’s “Bridgerton” co-star Rege-Jean Page flew from London to New York to guest-host “Saturday Night Live.”
Page, who plays Dynevor’s romantic love interest, the dashing Duke of Hastings, appeared in a sketch with Davidson, in which they satirized “Bridgerton’s” steamy love scenes. Representatives for Dynevor and Davidson did not reply to Page Six’s request for comment about a possible brewing romance between the two.
Whether there is anything to this report about Dynevor, it revives the idea that Davidson is highly desirable to an array of already popular or up-andcoming female stars. The tall and gawky “King of Staten Island” comedian was previously engaged to pop singer Ariana Grande and has been linked to British actress Kate Beckinsale and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actress Margaret Qualley.
