The robbery-shooting, which left an 18-year-old Concord man in critical condition, happened about 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of East 10th Street.

Police were told the victim and another man, a 25-year-old Concord resident, had gotten some food from a food truck in another part of Oakland. The two drove to the East 10th Street location, where they stopped.

There, they told authorities, a masked man with a gun came up to their vehicle and robbed them of a gold chain and cash before shooting the 18-year-old in the abdomen and leg. The suspect fled and the men drove to a convenience store on nearby International

The other shooting happened about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of 63rd Avenue.
