From festivals and fairs to nature experience­s, animal encounters and sustainabi­lity speakers, here are all the ways to celebrate Earth Day in the Bay Area this April.

HAYWARD EARTH DAY CLEANUP & COMMUNITY FAIR >> 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Weekes Park, 27182 Patrick Ave., Hayward. Partake in the annual citywide cleanup followed by an Earth Day Fair featuring eco-friendly giveaways, educationa­l demonstrat­ions, music and fun activities. EARTH DAY SHORELINE CLEANUP >> 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Shorebird Nature Center, 160 University Ave., Berkeley.
