Chamber of Commerce banquet set for Tuesday

The El Dorado Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the El Dorado Conference Center.

This year's premier sponsors are GenWealth Financial Advisors & The Systems Group. Gold sponsors are Clean Harbors and C.P. Deming & Company. Silver sponsors are El Dorado Chemical, Nexans AmerCable, Nabholz Constructi­on Services, El Dorado Insider's Guide, Emrich & Scroggins, LLC, The Diamond Agency and HEPCO. Sponsorshi­ps are still available. Reception begins at 6 p.m. Doors and buffet will open at 6:30 with dinner and program to follow at 7 p.m.

Featured speaker will be Governor Asa Hutchinson. Tickets are $30 a person or $300 to purchase a table of eight.

GenWealth Financial ribbon cutting to be held Wednesday

The El Dorado Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new office of GenWealth Financial in El Dorado under financial advisors Heather Crake, John Shrewsbury and Janet Walker and Office Administra­tor Chanel Hicks at 9 a.m. Wednesday at 301 N. Washington, Suite 101. The public is invited to attend.

Administra­tive Profession­als Lunch to be held April 22

The Chamber of Commerce will honor local administra­tive profession­als with a special lunch at 11:30 a.m. April 22 at the El Dorado Conference Center.

The Administra­tive Profession­al of the Year award will also be announced at the event.

The chamber is seeking sponsorshi­ps for the lunch and companies may contact the chamber to sponsor.

Please join the administra­tion, employees and medical staff at the Medical Center of South Arkansas to celebrate the new location and renovation of their Wound Center, Hyperbaric Medicine Center and Outpatient Therapy Services at 4 p.m. April 23, at Grove Medical Building Complex, 620 West Grove Street, Third Floor.

The event will include a ribbon cutting, reception and tour.
