WILLIE E. BRADLEY

Willie Earl “Jack” Bradley was born Sept. 30, 1953, in Lawson. He was the sixth child out of seven siblings. Willie Earl was born to the union of the Rev. David Bradley Sr. and Alma ‘Floy’ (Bridges) Bradley.

Jack had a witty and funny personalit­y and surrounded himself with the love and affection of family and friends. After graduating from El Dorado High School, he decided to venture to Detroit, Mich. to find employment. Shortly after arriving, he gained employment at Ford Motor Company, and he worked in several areas within the state of Michigan: Flatrock, Saline, and Milam. He worked at Ford Motor Company until his retirement after serving for 33.9 years. He was well liked by all of his fellow co-workers, and was a dedicated and loyal employee.

Prior to moving to Detroit, Jack met and married his true love, Augustine Watson, in 1972. They enjoyed 25 years of marriage. God blessed Jack and Augustine with two wonderful children, Ramundo Earl and Nikia Lynn, both the loves of their lives.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. David Bradley Sr. and Floy Bradley; his siblings, Freddie Bradley Sr., Dorothy Jean (Bradley) Ford and David Bradley Jr.

Those he leaves to cherish his memory are his son, Ramundo Earl Bradley (Ruby) of El Dorado; daughter, Nikia Lynn Bradley of Memphis; sisters, Pearlie Ruth Pierce of El Dorado, Pecola Murrell (James) of Clinton Township, Mich. and Brenda Bradley-Philson (Michael) of Arkadelphi­a; two adopted siblings, Jimmie Ann Barnes and Willie Norman (Carolyn) of El Dorado; his best friend of 48 years, Augustine Bradley of Memphis; two aunts, Pearl Butler and Iola Bradley, both of Ashtabula, Ohio and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends. He is also survived by children Briana Marie Bradley of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Ramaul Williams of Detriot.

Funeral for Mr. Bradley will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Mt. Zion #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion cemetery under the directions of Paradise Funeral Home of Bernice, La.

CARLA V. CLAYTON

Carla V. Clayton, 78, of Foreman, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016.

Mrs. Clayton was born June 20, 1938, in Arkinda to Raymond Oscar and Emma Louis Bates. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Foreman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Clayton; one son, Rudy Clayton; one stepbrothe­r; parents and stepmother, Mary Lovewell Bates.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Kathy Clayton of El Dorado and Chris and Tina Clayton of Foreman; two brothers, Ver Dale Bates of McCall Creek, Miss. and Roger Bates of Tom, Okla.; one sister, Sue McDaniel of Idabel, Okla.; step-brothers and step-sisters, Billy Van, Charles Van, Eddie Van, Clyde Van, Joy Van and Susie Dollar; eight grandchild­ren, Dina Clayton, Charlie and Kami Clayton, Marty Clayton, Marina Clayton, Jason and Laura LaRue, Bryan LaRue, Daniel and Claire Clayton, and Blake Clayton and one great grandchild, Grant LaRue.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Madden Funeral Home in Foreman.

Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Dollarhide Cemetery in Foreman with the Rev. Audie Dawson officiatin­g.

ROY FRAZIER

Roy Frazier, 67, of El Dorado, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at Oakridge Nursing Home.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1948, in El Dorado to L.J. Frazier & Trudie Reed Frazier . He was a member of Zion Watch Baptist Church. He retired as a custodian from Washington Middle School.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bobbie Frazier Pierce and a brother, Donald Frazier.

Survivors are a sister, Ruby Frazier Johnson of Blythville and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Zion Watch Baptist Church with the Rev. D. R. Dredd officiatin­g.

Burial will follow in Zion Watch Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be after the funeral.

BRUCE L. MORGAN

Bruce Leon Morgan, 64, of El Dorado, quietly departed this life and strolled through the gates of Heaven on Monday, July 18, 2016.

Bruce was born on Dec. 14, 1951, in St. Louis, the third child of the Rev. Judson Morgan and Dolores Neill Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Judd Morgan of El Dorado and the Rev. Mark Morgan Sr. of Drew, Miss. and one nephew, the Rev. Mark Morgan Jr. of Tupelo, Miss.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Judith Bledsoe (Robert) of El Dorado; four nieces, Teresa Eby (Kevin) of Bryant, Lora Gipson (Michael), Shannon Morgan and Erin Grady (Lee), all of Saltillo, Miss.; two nephews, Brent Bledsoe (Suzanne) of Junction City and John Morgan (Rachel) of Saltillo.

Bruce served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Because of the injuries he sustained, both physically and emotionall­y, Bruce suffered much during his earthly journey; but on Saturday evening, Nov. 29, 2014, Bruce began another tour of duty as a soldier of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From that moment forward he was truly a changed person. Although his physical sufferings never diminished, Bruce marched on with a smile on his face. He had a servant’s heart and ministered cheerfully to others during his remaining tenure on earth. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of El Dorado, with the Rev. Jonathan Kelley and the Rev. Brian Trostle officiatin­g.

Memorials may be made to the benevolenc­e fund at First Baptist Church of El Dorado or to Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado.

Cremation services entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonvil­le.

MARY K. WILLIAMS

Mary Kennedy Williams, 86, of El Dorado, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born on Dec. 30, 1929, in Norphlet . She was the daughter of Otis Kennedy & Willie Davis Kennedy. She was a LPN and retired as a nursing assistant from Leisure Lodge Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She was a member of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Norphlet.

Survivors are three daughters, Cecelia Williams of El Dorado, Clarissa Rogers of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Lillie Maye Brown of Shreveport; brother, Raymond Kennedy of Norphlet; three sisters, Arzola Clark of Strong and Doll Kennedy and Martha Smith, both of Norphlet; seven grandchild­ren and five great-grandchild­ren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Norphlet with the Rev. Rudolph Stennis officiatin­g.

Burial will follow in Primm Cemetery in Sandyland under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

There will be no public viewing at the funeral home. All public viewing will be after the service.
