Memorial services for Bruce Leon Morgan will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of El Dorado, with the Rev. Jonathan Kelley and the Rev. Brian Trostle officiating.

Funeral for the Rev. Ruben Sims will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Spearsville.
The Rev. Alfred Hill, Pastor, and the Rev. Billy Brewster will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Fellowship Church Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Farmerville, La.

Services for Mary Kennedy Williams will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Norphlet with the Rev. Rudolph Stennis officiating.
Burial will follow in Primm Cemetery in Sandyland under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
There will be no public viewing at the funeral home. All public viewing will be after the service.
Obituaries ARTHUR A. GOODSON
Arthur A. Goodson, 86, of Smackover, died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock.
Mr. Goodson was born on December 6, 1929, in Louann to Dennis and Callie Goodson. He immigrated to Chicago in 1948, where he raised three daughters and began a 34-year career with the Ford Motor Company, before returning to South Arkansas in retirement in 1981.
A beloved community leader, he was a member of the Methodist faith. A 32nd Degree Mason, he was an active member of five Lodges and was honored for his 68 years of service to Freemasonry with, among others, the Master of the Craft Award, the Lodge Service Award, and the Pillar of Solomon Award.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, of 53 years, Anna Mae (Webb) Goodson; daughters, Deborah Lee Goodson and Ann Cunningham; three brothers; and three sisters.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda (Laury) Hamburg of Smackover and Cecelia (DuWayne) DesForges of Manteno, Ill.; six grandchildren, Jonathan Arthur (Michelle) Jensen of Chapel Hill, N.C., Alan (Amanda) Abraham of Grant Park, Ill., Erica (Bob) Earley of Wilmington, Ill., Angela (Jeff) Workman of Manteno, Zachary Cunningham of Sparta, Tenn., and Adam (Leah) DesForges of Peotone, Ill.; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado. Masonic Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 at Crossroads Cemetery in Louann with Bro. Kevin Crowley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Masonic Lodge or OES Chapter.
