Ruby Lee Frazier, 94, of El Dorado died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at her home.

Obituaries SUSAN D. FONTENOT

Susan Diane Reed Fontenot, 61, of Louann, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at her home. She was born July 7, 1955, in El Dorado to J.D. and Melba Leister Reed.

She was a daughter and sister that loved with an unconditio­nal love. She was a loving mother and grandmothe­r who enjoyed spoiling her grandchild­ren. Susan was “Auntie” to all in her family and the go-to person to get anything accomplish­ed. Her passing is a significan­t loss to all who knew her.

Susan graduated from Smackover High School in 1973 and attended the LPN program at Oil Belt Vocational School in 1975. She furthered her education with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Southern Arkansas University in 1978.

Susan dedicated her life to the ministry of healing. She leaves a legacy as a nurse who shared her knowledge with the young and inexperien­ced without reservatio­n and groomed them into lifesavers who will never forget her honesty and support. Susan rejoiced with her patients who celebrated new life or healing and embraced those who suffered through loss. She had a “no-nonsense” approach as a supervisor and loved to play “Monty Hall, Let’s Make a Deal” with staffing of units at Ouachita County Medical Center for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Fontenot; father, J. D. Reed; sons, James D. Fontenot Jr. and Michael Lee Fontenot; daddy, Dale Tatom; and sister, Sandra Johnson.

She is survived by her mother, Melba Tatom of Louann; brother, Jim Reed and his wife, Brenda, of Smackover; and sister, Johnanne Reed Brown of Smackover; son, Michael Paul Fontenot of Chidester; daughters, Nichole Schexnider and her husband, Wendell, Cathy Fontenot, and Kandy Fontenot, all of Louisiana; special friend, Robert Neal of El Dorado; 12 grandchild­ren; six great-grandchild­ren; and nieces and nephews that adored her.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. The family received friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

JUDD M. STILES

Judd M. Stiles, 83, of El Dorado passed away on Aug. 8, 2016. He was born July 2, 1933, in Wilmar to the late Willis L. and Lucy Castleberr­y Stiles. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his wife of nearly 50 years, Gloria Ann Proffitt Stiles; and his four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his two children, daughter, Fonda Stiles of El Dorado and son, Dory Stiles (Angy) of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchild­ren, Krystal Pace (Bobby), Brandi Lowery, Cassidy and Cade Stiles; and five great-grandchild­ren, Tyson, Natalie and Levi Pace, Brooklyn Hearne and Madilyn Lowery.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado with Dr. Raymond Cammack officiatin­g. Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnol­le Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.
