Celebration of Lost Loved ones

A Stop the Violence and Celebration of Lost Loved Ones gathering, presented by Brothers Making Changes, will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Mattocks Park. The event was postponed from an earlier date due to inclement weather. The gathering will include a balloon release for those who have lost loved ones to violence, guest speakers, bouncy houses, a DJ playing old-school R&B music, and free food and water. The public is invited to attend. Those who attend are encouraged to wear “Rest In Peace” T-shirts or other such memorabilia for video footage that will be shot of the event.
