Bowlers will have a league meeting Sept. 1

The Anything Goes Bowling League will hold a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 1 at El Dorado Lanes.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

TOPSoccer to soon begin its 10th season

This year is the 10th anniversary for TOPSoccer at the Boys & Girls Club.

TOPSoccer is an adapted after school sports program for children with special needs.

The program starts on October 4 at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, and will run for six weeks.

The cost is $35 per child, although you may have to pay an additional $10 if your child is not already a member. Donations are welcome, and volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated. Registration will take place at the Boys & Girls Club until October 23rd for uniform order.

Smackover baseball to present golf tourney

Smackover's baseball team will be hosting the Buckaroo Scramble on September 17 at Pine Hills Country Club.

The event will raise money for Smackover's trip to Florida over spring break next year.

The format is a four-man scramble and the cost to enter is $150 per team.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. and the top three places will be awarded cash prizes.
