THURSDAY

• Marrable Hill Chapel Clothes Closet is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Free clothing and household items are available. Directions: Turn left off old Strong Highway onto Marrable Hill Road; take the fourth right at Marrable Hill Chapel entrance.

• Gifted Golden Girls sewing group meets at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, followed by stitching at 1 p.m. For locations and more information on the group, call 546-2788.

• The El Dorado Lions Club meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month at Simmons Bank, second floor conference room. • S.H.I.F.T. (Seeking, Holiness, Intimacy, Freedom, Transformation), an organization of “Christ-centered overcomers,” meets at 6 p.m. each Thursday at Cross Life Church, located at 1010 Combs St. The public is invited to attend.

• Order of the Eastern Star No. 280 meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday in the Masonic Temple.

• Open Door Recovery Fellowship will have a speaker at 7 p.m. on Thursday at 806 E. Park.

• The El Dorado Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at 100 Hargett.

• The Liberty Ministry Center Thrift Store will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at 504 N. College. For more information, call 862-3063.

• The Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Chapter in El Dorado meets at 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at St. Mary’s Parish Hall September through April. The group does not meet during the month of January.

FRIDAY

• St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1308 E. Hillsboro, will give away clothing only each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Please place clothing only in blue containers in front of building. They do not accept furniture. SATURDAY

• Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. the second Saturday at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1502 Champagnolle. Anyone who is a disabled veteran is welcome to attend and join the activities.

• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the small house next door to College Avenue Church of Christ. • Liberty Ministry Center Thrift Store will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month. For more information, call 862-3063.

SUNDAY

• Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon Monday through Sunday at 806 E. Park.

• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the small house next door to College Avenue Church of Christ.

MONDAY
