The Union County Fair will continue today with the main attraction – the Junior Livestock Show and Sale – in the livestock barn at the Union County Fairground­s at 12:30 p.m.

Other scheduled events at the fair today include: ticket sales begin at the gate at 4:30 p.m.; Commercial Building open from 5:30 until 10 p.m.; carnival opens and ticket sales at 5 p.m.; a free concert featuring, Southern Koast, will be held from 7 until 9 p.m.; rabbits need to be picked up at 9 p.m. and the barn will close at 11 p.m.

On Saturday, chickens should be picked up from 8 a.m. until noon; from 1 until 5 p.m., school age children will be admitted at the gate free and with a $15 wristband, they can ride until 6 p.m.; from 2 until 3 p.m., a Kids Character meet and greet will be held with Sparky, McGruff, Doc McStuffins, Hello Kitty, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and more; from 6 p.m. until closing, armbands will be $20 and from 7 until 9 p.m., a free concert featuring “The Anointed Shutes Sisters,” will

be held.

The El Dorado High School Wildcats will play Lake Hamilton at Lake Hamilton with kick-off at 7 tonight. The

Junction City Dragons will play McGehee at McGehee with kick-off at 7 tonight. The

Smackover Buckaroos will play Fouke at Fouke at 7 p.m. today. The Parkers Chapel Trojans will play at Hampton with kick-off at 7 today. The

Strong Bulldogs will play Harmony Grove of Camden at Strong High School at 7 tonight.
