Weekly Meetings

SATURDAY

• Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. the second Saturday at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1502 Champagnolle. Anyone who is a disabled veteran is welcome to attend and join the activities.

• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the small house next door to College Avenue Church of Christ.

• Liberty Ministry Center Thrift Store will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month. For more information, call 8623063.

SUNDAY

• Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon Monday through Sunday at 806 E. Park.

• Union County Genealogical Society meets the second Sunday of each month. Meetings begin at 2 p.m. at Barton Library. For more information, call Jan Fournier at 862-3049.

MONDAY

• The St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1308 E. Hillsboro, will give away clothing only from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you have clothing to donate to the cause, please place clothes in the blue containers in front of the building. Furniture will not accepted.
