To The Editor:

There is sure a lot of hatred towards the Clintons.

Back in the 1990s Bill Clinton suffered many attacks. Slick Willie, Womanizer, Draft Dodger Whitewater not to mention the women that claimed that Bill took advantaged of them.

Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky. Now that Hillary is running many people call her a devil. I’ll have you know Hillary is a committed Christian and she Bill attend church each Sunday.

Look at Donald Trump. He isn’t presidential material. He doesn’t care about the common people. Wants to build walls to keep out the refugees. Make Mexico pay for the wall.

At an Afro-American church he was up there bashing Hillary, the pastor, who was a woman, put him in his place. “We didn’t invite you here for that” were her exact words.

The emails goes on and on. Can’t we just leave it alone? Hillary turned them over and the FBI did their investigation. She was found NOT GUILTY! Who are they going to attack next? Chelsea ?

Watch out for shipping scam

I wrote this letter to talk about the acceptable scam.

I myself am sick and tired of being scammed and told that I am getting a great deal. No deal is great when you are paying probably five or six times what it costs to make the product. Sure, I know the product maker has to make a profit to take care of the overhead, like paying salaries and the like, but when you are told that if you buy one we will give you one free of cost, if you pay separate shipping, you should know that is a lie.

In the first place, the price of the product that you are buying has already been jacked up two or three times what it is worth. When you think about it, it probably costs less than a fourth of that to make it in the first place.

The idea of one free, just pay separate shipping is a big lie. You fall that and when the products arrive you find that they were shipped together. You didn’t get anything free. We accept that scam and think we got a good deal. Don’t get me wrong, the product may be great and will do everything they say it will do, but we should not let ourselves be scammed on paying separate shipping cost and the product is not being shipped separate at all. Many times the shipping and handling costs more than the product itself. Dealing with automatic shipping is even worst.

One day you come to your senses and decide you are no longer

to accept the scams. You call the product seller and they find out that you are not calling to increase your order but to cancel it — that is when you get the runaround. You are constantly switched back and forth between operators, with all this waiting time just trying to cancel. The waiting time becomes frustrating, so you hang up with no opportunity to cancel your automatic shipment. It is part of the overall scam, to keep you receiving the product and paying separate shipping costs for a product that is being shipped together.

There are many ways you may be able to cancel the automatic shipment that they try so hard to keep you from canceling. Since they want to be deceptive and give me the runaround, I become creative and remove that stress. I simply call my credit card company and explain the situation and tell them to accept no charges from that company. Then when they send me the product I just wait for them to contact me because they could not charge my account.

I explain to the product seller that I tried to cancel the automatic shipment, but they would not talk to me. If they would send me a pre-paid postage packing label I will send the product back to them. Most of the time they will, but if not, then I do not send it back.

I know that many of you, just like me, have fallen for that “get one free just pay separate shipping.” Well no more for me, I have come to my senses. That scam will not draw me in anymore.

A lesson learned is a dollar saved!
