Services for Sue Ellen Allen, 66, of Smackover, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Smackover with internment immediatel­y following at Hicks Cemetery. Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the direction of A Natural State Funeral Service of Jacksonvil­le.

THELMA DAVIS

Thelma Davis, 77, of El Dorado, passed away on Oct. 14, 2016.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Shady Grove Baptist Church in El Dorado. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home in Bernice, La.

LINDA HILL

Linda Hill, of Junction City, passed away on Oct. 13, 2016.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Fellowship Baptist Church in Junction City, La.

Graveside will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Junction City, under the direction Paradise Funeral Home in Bernice, La.

BENNY J. REED

Funeral for Benny Jorden Reed, 80, of Little Rock, formerly of Three Creeks, will be at 11 a.m. today at Douglas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. D.L. Hegler officiatin­g.

Graveside will follow in El Bethel Cemetery in Three Creeks, under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be after the service only.

CATHERINE ROSS

Funeral for Catherine Ross, 84, of Magnolia, who died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at Medical Center Of South Arkansas of El Dorado, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Holly, with Pastor T. B. Franklin officiatin­g.

Graveside will follow in Smead Cemetery, Mount Holly, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.

MILDRED A. SMITH

Services for Mildred Ann Townsend-Smith, 88, of El Dorado, will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens in North Charleston at 10 a.m. today. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Life Touch Hospice of El Dorado.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make memorials in her honor to the Union County Animal Protection Society at 1000 Sunset Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.

MARGARET TISDALE

Services for Margaret Tisdale, 56, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Farmervill­e, La., with the Rev. Lester Sims, pastor and the Rev. Stephen Dixon officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Millard Hill Church Cemetery in Farmervill­e.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Farmervill­e.

LORINE WILLIAMS

Services for Lorine Williams, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. on today at the Lane Chapel Baptist Church in Downsville, La., with the Rev. Gary Williams and the Rev. Julius Hill officiatin­g.

Interment will follow at the Lane Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Farmervill­e, La., under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Farmervill­e. Obituaries

KELDON A. CAMERON

Keldon Allen Cameron, 28, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. He was born June 10, 1988, to Donnie and Ginie Gandy Cameron, in

El Dorado. Keldon worked as an electricia­n for Evers Electric and was of the Baptist faith. From the time he was four years old he loved taking things apart to see how they worked, a trait he carried on in his love of mechanics.

Keldon was a “straightup” man who enjoyed playing men’s league softball and had also coached Union County Babe Ruth for three years. Keldon loved throwing a ball, picking the guitar, and sky diving.

Keldon loved his family and was his Dad’s best friend.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparen­ts, James and Virginia Gandy.

Survivors include his wife, Lacie Cameron; two sons, Brodie and Barton Cameron all of El Dorado; his parents, Donnie and Ginie Cameron of Smackover; brother, Jeremy Ward (Kim) also of Smackover; sister, Lynsey McGaugh (Brandon) of Osceola; paternal grandparen­ts, Don and Mary Cameron of McCaskill; father and mother-in-law, Hunter and Bonnie Sexton of El Dorado; and a host of nieces; and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Smackover with Bro. Carly Davis officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to a savings fund for Keldon’s children, Brodie and Barton, at BancorpSou­th, 1510 NW Avenue, El Dorado, AR 71730.
