• Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ: The 21st anniversar­y celebratio­n for Pastor Kelly and Margie Owens will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church, 1611 Detroit St., El Dorado. Guest speaker will be Pastor Sandy Brown of The Starlight Church Family. Other guests will include, Pastor Roy Wesley of New Hope Church, Pastor Murphy Aaron of Holy Ghost Love Church, Pastor Charles Booker of Sunlight Church, Pastor Davis of Monticello No. 1 Church and Pastor Rodney Henderson of Holy Temple Church. Everyone is invited to attend.

•Christ Missionary Baptist Church: The monthly “Joy to the Lord” program will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, located at 1628 E. Cook St. El Dorado. The featured speaker will be Pastor Cunningham. Chili will be served after the program and the public is invited to attend.

• Curry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church: A prayer breakfast will be held with registrati­on at 8 a.m. on Oct. 29 at the church. Breakfast will start at 9 a.m. The Theme will be “Stepping High into our Destiny” and Jeremiah 29:11. Guest speakers will include Sister Monica Artis, Minister PJ Yarbrough and Minister Linda Burns. Worship leader will be Sister Diane Williams.

• Marrable Hill Chapel and New Beginnings: Marrable Hill Chapel and New Beginnings will join together for their annual Fall Festival from 6 until 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Marrable Hill Chapel gymnasium, 110 Chapel Ave., El Dorado.The event – for children ages through sixth-grade – will include trunk or treat, cake walk, blow-up slide, food, lots of games and drawings for Walmart gift cards.

• Immanuel Baptist Church: The Ladies Only Luncheon will be held at the church, located at 701 S. West

Ave., El Dorado, with serving beginning at

11:30 a.m. and the program at

12:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Jerri Agerton of El

Dorado will be the guest speaker. She will bring a message from Luke 10 and Katie Sandifer will provide the music. Preschool childcare reservatio­ns are required and must be received by noon on Monday, by calling the church office at 862-4264.

• El Dorado First Assembly of God: A fall fest will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the church, located at 2225 W. Hillsboro, El Dorado. There will be trunk or treat, turbo rush slide, bungee run, sticky wall, climbing wall, bounce houses, carnival games, photo booth, giveaways, food and snacks. It is free to the public.

• First Baptist Church- Cordell: The annual harvest day will be held at at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, at 620 Cordell. Special guests will be the Rev. W.T. Ward and the First Baptist Church of Huttig. The public is invited to attend. Lunch will be served.

•Divine Faith Fellowship Full Gospel Baptist Church: A 30th church anniversar­y service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, located at 1218 E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Guest speaker and church will be Bishop Anthony Grant and the Greater New Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church of Shreveport, La.

• Little Bethel Baptist Church: The 50th pastoral anniversar­y for

• New Bethel Baptist Church: An annual friends and family night musical will be presented by the El Dorado chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. at 6 p.m. today at the church, 800 S. Smith, El Dorado. Musical guests will be Mount Zion Baptist Church in Urbana, Now Life Deliveranc­e and Worship Center and Rejoice and Zion Watch Baptist Church.

• New Olive Branch Baptist Church: Annual choir day will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1548 N. Roselawn, El Dorado. Special music will be provided by The Voices of Praise, Voices of Victory and the Sanctuary Choir.

• New Providence Baptist Church: The annual Men’s Day will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the church in Norphlet. Special speaker will be Deacon Robert White of Whitest Chapel Baptist Church in Camden. Lunch will be served after the service. The public is invited to attend.

• Parkers Chapel United Methodist Church: A trunk or treat will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31 at 3134 Haynesvill­e Highway. The public is invited to bring their children.

• St. Luke Baptist Church: The Annual homecoming service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church in Calion. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Doyle McGhee of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Calion. The theme will be “Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee” Mark 5:19. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and all churches and pastors are welcome to attend.

• Union Mission Baptist Church: The 71st church anniversar­y service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1621 Short E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. The theme will be Matthew 16:18, “And I say unto thee, thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Guest speaker will be Bishop R.J. Jones of St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church and Hatter Chapel. Lunch will be served.
