Funeral for Clifton Alan McMillian, 67, of Magnolia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 at A.C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, in Magnolia. McMillian will be cremated.

Calling hours will be from noon to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Eunice Marie Murphy, 67, of McNeil, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in McNeil, with Franklin Jackson officiatin­g. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Emerson, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.

Visitation will be at from noon until 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

RUBY PICKENS

Ruby Pickens, 87, of Magnolia, passed away on March 14, 2017.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia.

Burial will follow at the Old Matthews Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Homer, Louisiana.

Audrey M. Castleberr­y, a long-time resident of Junction City, died peacefully Saturday the 18th of March at Northern Louisiana Medical

Center in Rust on, LA. Born in 1921,

Audrey lived life to the fullest for all of her 95 years. She travelled the globe and made residence in the bustling cities of New Orleans, Houston, Dallas and Miami throughout her life before returning to Junction City. Audrey had a sense of humor and rarely left her friends without a smile. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James S. Castleberr­y, her sister Ruby Norris and her devoted daughter Patricia Ann Castleberr­y Brandel. Audrey is survived by her grandson, James Brandel, his wife Raquel and her dear granddaugh­ters, Maddie and Zoe Brandel, who both brought great joy to her. She treasured her friends of which there are too many names to count. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City, AR, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR.

CHLOE B. HOLMES

Chloe Ballard Holmes, 91, formerly of Urbana, passed away peacefully in the compa - ny of her family on Tuesday,

March 21, 2017 in

Col lege Station,

Texas .

She and her twin brother Clyde were born on March 30, 1925, in Urbana, to Mary Drucilla Shirey Ballard and Marcus David Ballard.

She and her brother graduated at the top of their class in 1941, when her brother joined the Navy and she went to business school and took a wartime job in Washington, D.C. She returned to El Dorado and met and married Allie Bruce Holmes on Nov. 17, 1945. They had a family of six daughters that they reared in Mathis, Texas. Chloe and her husband, Allie, were the co-owners and operators of Opti-Cap, Inc. She was a member of the Mathis Church of Christ, the Mathis Literary Club, the Cenizo Garden Club, the Mathis ParentTeac­her Associatio­n, the Mathis Band Boosters, the Corpus Christi New Neighbors Club, Ayers Street Church of Christ, the Hot Springs Village Church of Christ and was an award-winning member of the Village Camera Club. She loved to travel and visited over 80 countries. She traveled with her grandchild­ren from coast to coast and to Hawaii.

Chloe was preceded in death by her husband, Allie; her daughter, Linda Dianne; her parents and her siblings, Clyde, Jim, and Lois Ballard, and Irene Ballard Waller.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Holmes Ritter (Tom), Becky Holmes Dumphy Cofer (Charlie), Alison Holmes Riley, Alane Holmes Nuzum (Robert), and Cherry Holmes. She leaves behind 11 loving grandchild­ren, Tiffany, Emily, Natalie, Burnley, Allie, Meredith, Melanie, Trey, Cage, Kelly, and Erika; along with 14 great-grandchild­ren; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and even great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Young’s Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnol­le Road in El Dorado with services at 11 a. m. in Young’s Chapel with Tommy Bennett officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado.
