SARHC welcomes new staff members

Dr. Natalie Jordan, M.D., has joined South Arkansas Regional Health Center to serve as medical director and staff psychiatri­st.

She will be guiding the medical team along with seeing patients daily. She completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences followed by a residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship both completed at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Jordan is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry.

Gortrell Cox, LMSW, has joined SARHC as a Licensed Master Social Worker. He is seeing patients in the office during open access hours and providing school-based services to children.

Gortrell received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He completed his Master of Social Work with a concentrat­ion in Advanced Direct Practice from University of Arkansas at Little Rock as well.

SARHC strives to provide affordable behavioral health care services that are high in quality and appropriat­e to the individual’s needs. SARHC offers a variety of treatment and services to assist all walks of life with problems such as anxiety, stress, family disturbanc­es, school or work adjustment problems, depression, and many other behavioral health problems.

SARHC has offices in El Dorado (715 N College, 870862-7921), Magnolia (412 N Vine, 870-234-7500), and Camden (211 Jackson St SW, 870-836-5743) serving the residents of Union, Columbia, Ouachita, Dallas, Nevada, and Calhoun counties.
