• Immanuel Baptist Church: Michelle Tolar of Ruston, Louisiana, will be the guest speaker for the Ladies Only Luncheon to begin with serving at 11:30 a.m. on
Tuesday in the Family Life Center at the church, 701 S. West Ave., El Dorado.
The program will begin at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday and Tolar will give her testimony through words and songs. Preschool childcare reservations must be made by noon on Monday by calling the church office at 870-862-4264.
• Salvation Army Church: Melissa Weinisch of Jews for Jesus, will recreate Jesus’ last supper, a traditional Passover service, and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called, “Christ in the Passover” at the Salvation Army Church, 419 S. Madison, El Dorado, at 7 p.m. on April 6. She will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. Jews for Jesus has presented, “Christ in the Passover” at over 38,000 churches. Moishe Rosen, who founded Jews for Jesus in 1973, co-wrote the book, “Christ in the Passover,” with his wife, Ceil. • Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church: The Delta Network Food Pantry, held the fourth Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., a food and clothes pantry, will be held today at the church, 403 S. Pelham, and Jehovah Jireh Living Bread Ministry of Help.
• St. John Missionary Baptist Church: The church’s 45th anniversary will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1018 E. Wilson St., El Dorado. Guests for the event will be the Rev. John Elliot and members of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Everyone is invited.
