• The St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1308 E. Hillsboro, will give away clothing only from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you have clothing to donate to the cause, please place clothes in the blue containers in front of the building. Furniture will not accepted. • Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon Monday through Sunday at 806 E. Park. Open Door Recovery Fellowship will have a meeting at 7 today.

• Breast Friends Breast Cancer Support Group meets the third Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall on Madison Avenue. For more informatio­n, call Pat Rackow at 310-6920.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will have a closed discussion at 5:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 420 N. Madison, (use back door). This is not a Glum Lot group.

• El Dorado Group of Al-Anon meets at 7 p.m. each Monday at 801 E. Sixth St.

• Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday for an open discussion at East Sixth and North Park Street.

• The Union County Republican Committee will meet at 6 p.m. the first Monday at Simmons Bank, located at 100 W. Grove, in El Dorado.

• Sons of Confederat­e Veterans meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Barton Library in El Dorado, 200 E. Fifth St. The public is invited to attend. For more informatio­n, call Mark Williams at 870-862-4917.
