KATHY BRUMLEY
Kathy Brumley, 61 of Hot Springs Village and formerly of El Dorado passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Born September 25,
1955 in El Dorado she was the daughter of
Ben and Mable Jean Barbaree Merritt.
Mrs. Brumley was a pharmacy technician with Super X and
Krogers having retired after 30 years. She was member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Kathy enjoyed all sports, especially baseball, and the New York Yankees. She also was an avid supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks. She enjoyed cooking for her grandchildren and family members. Holidays were always very important to Kathy as she decorated for all special times of the year.
Preceding her in death along with her parents was a sister, Karen Pepper.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Brumley of Hot Springs Village, a son, Brandon
Brumley (Kandice) of Sachse, TX and a daughter, Wendi Rich (Randy) of Parker’s Chapel along with a brother, Kenny Merritt of El Dorado and a sister, Kay Streeter of Mobile, AL. Surviving grandchildren are Ethan, Brooke, Craig and Megan and great-grandchildren, Sadie and Lailee.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 with Rev. Sam Whitlow officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
