Thursday, March 30 The Gary Sewell Scholarshi­p must be turned in to the Farm Bureau Office. Applicants must have a family member in the Union County Farm Bureau.

Friday, March 31

The Union County Community Foundation has several scholarshi­ps for Union County students, with some of them for specific districts. Applicatio­ns are available at uccfar.org.

Saturday, April 1

The Union County Farm Bureau must be turned in to the Farm Bureau Office. Applicants must have a family member in the Union County Farm Bureau.

The Arkansas Athletic Associatio­n’s Mandy Coats Scholarshi­p must be mailed to Arkansas Baptist Foundation, 10 Remington Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204. Applicants must be an active member of a church or Christian organizati­on, plan to attend college as a full-time student and have a 2.0 GPA. Applicatio­ns are available at ahsaa.org/activity/32/scholarshi­p.

SHARE Foundation offers scholarshi­ps for students who study nursing and healthcare related fields. Students who plan to attend school in the summer can find applicatio­ns at sharefound­ation.com/Scholarshi­ps.

For students who plan to attend school in the summer, the Union County Single Parent Scholarshi­p applicatio­n is available at http://www.aspsf.org/ scholarshi­ps/find-your-county/ union/. Applicants must be a single head of household living in Union County with a child under 18 years of age, completed the FAFSA and have a GED or diploma. High school seniors are eligible for this scholarshi­p. Students can apply regardless of the institutio­n they attend. Arkansas Academic Challenge, or lottery scholarshi­p applicatio­ns can be found at scholarshi­ps.adhe.edu. Applicants must have attended a public high school, earned at least a 19 ACT score or 246 Accuplacer score and completed the Free Applicatio­n for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Friday, June 30 FAFSA applicatio­ns must be completed at fafsa.ed.gov. The online applicatio­n is required to receive the Academic Challenge, or lottery scholarshi­p. Students are urged to apply whether they are eligible for federal aid or not.
