‘Jungle Book KIDS’ this weekend

Disney’s “Jungle Book KIDS” will be held March 31 and April 1 at the South Arkansas Arts Center. Performances will be held at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at SAAC. This production showcases a large cast of talented drama students from ages 7-16, and is being directed by Shelton Harden, children’s performing arts coordinator at SAAC. Harden, a well-known lifelong veteran of stage and music theater, teaches children’s drama classes at SAAC. Tickets are $5 each.

William and Friends play Club 10

Club 10 will present William and Friends from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, March 31, at the American Legion in El Dorado. Anyone 21 and over is welcome. Cover charge is $8. Come enjoy dancing in a smoke-free environment.

‘Inside and Out’ reception

An artist reception for Sandy Bennett will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado. DBA hosts customer appreciation lunch

The El Dorado Downtown Business Association will host a customer appreciation hot dog lunch giveaway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, on the Union County Courthouse steps. The public is invited to enjoy food, fun and festivities.

Mt. Holly church sets auction

Mt. Holly Community Church will hould an auction at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, in the church’s Burks Family Life Center. located at 2935 Stephens Highway in Mt. Holly. The doors open at 5 p.m. for the auction, which is a benefit for the American Cancer Society and is sponsored by BJ’s Dream Team, Relay for Life.
