In the Churches

• Sunlight Church of God in Christ: An Auxiliaries in Ministry meeting will be held at 7:30 Wednesday through Friday at the church, located at 525 Plum St., El Dorado. On Wednesday, the Sunshine Band president will be honoring Mother Diane Tubbs. On Thursday, the youth president will be honoring aspiring evangelist, Michelle Grimes, and on Friday, the music president will honor sister Mashell Marshell and the Greater El Dorado District Choir will be in concert. Everyone is welcome to come.

• Faith In the Word Christian Center: A Family and Friend’s Day will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, at the church, located at 1310 Detroit S., El Dorado. Guest speaker will be Pastor Kenneth Clemons with Abundant Liberty Ministries. Everyone is invited.

• First Apostolic Church: The annual Women’s Day Program will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 215 American Road, El Dorado. Guest speaker will be Minister Sandra Johnson, the assistant minister of United Covenant Ministry of Smackover. Everyone is invited.

• Murmil Heights Baptist Church: Revival will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, at the church, located at 815 W. Eighth, El Dorado. Evangelist Richard Miller, a missionary in the Fiji Islands and Papua New Guinea, will be the speaker.

• New Providence Baptist Church: A youth revival will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the church. Guest choirs will be Greater St. Paul Baptist Church of Camden on Monday, Mount Gillard Baptist Church of Camden on Tuesday and New Eastside Baptist Church of El Dorado on Wednesday. Guest evangelist will be the Rev. Anthony Traylor, pastor of New Eastside Baptist Church.

• St. Mark United Methodist Church: The monthly First Sunday Breakfast will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 2010 W. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Guests are invited.

• Salem Missionary Baptist Church: Revival services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the church, located at 2205 Salem Road, Junction City. The speaker for the event will be the Rev. Roy Aaron of the First St. James Baptist Church in El Dorado. Guest choirs will include New Hope Baptist Church Male Chorus on Monday, El Bethel Baptist Church Choir on Tuesday and First St. James Baptist Church Choir on Wednesday.

•Shady Grove Baptist Church: The 19th pastor and wife anniversary celebration honoring Pastor Jimmy and first lady Janie Miller will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1207 N. Highland, El Dorado. Guest pastor will be the Rev. Billy Miller and members of Mount Willie Baptist Church.

• Sweet Home Baptist Church: The Eighth Pastoral Anniversary of the Rev. Willie George will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1323 Swilley Road, Smackover. Guest church and pastor will be the Rev. Barry Dobson and members of St. John Baptist Church of El Dorado. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Trinity Chapel Assembly of God Church: The first Saturday night singing will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at the church, 11714 Haynesville Highway. Refreshments will be served after singing. This will be held the first Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcome.

• Church of Love: Daughters of Destiny Women’s Outreach Ministry will be held at the church, 803 E. Main, El Dorado, at 6 p.m. on Monday. Guest speaker will be Minister Jeanette Andrews, who will talk on “Life Change.”
