VFW Post 2413 to hold fish fry

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2413 will hold their annual fish fry at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 14, at the post in El Dorado. All members and guests are invited.

Lost Prairie plays Club 10

The duo Lost Prairie, from Homer, La., will play from 8 to midnight on Friday, April 14, at the American Legion Club 10 in El Dorado. Everyone over 21 is invited. Cover charge is $8. Remember, American Legion Bingo is held every Thursday at 5 p.m.

SATURDAY Gardner High Alumni holds fundraiser Saturday

The Gardner High School Alumni Inc. of Strong will host its Annual Fundraisin­g activities beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, on the parking lot of Strong Supermarke­t, Hwy 82.

The fundraiser will consist of a variety of delicious baked goods and other items. Everyone is invited to please support this effort.

First Assembly plans Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

El Dorado First Assembly is having a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 15 at the church, located at 2225 W. Hillsboro Ave. Games, inflatable­s, and popcorn begin at 7 p.m. and the egg hunt will begin at dusk. Events will be organized in three different age groups: 1-3 years old; preschool and kindergart­en; and grades 1-5. First Assembly has 9,000 eggs total. Egg hunters are asked to bring a flashlight and a basket to collect the eggs.

• Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. the second Saturday at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1502 Champagnol­le.

• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the small house next door to College Avenue Church of Christ.
