Notice of Passing TERRY HOLMES

Terry Holmes, 50, of El Dorado, passed away on April 13, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.

Thomas Earl Dismuke, 58, of Strong, departed this life at the John R. Williamson Hospice Hospital in El Dorado on Sunday, April 9, 2017.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 at Mount Zion No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Urbana under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett.

Graveside services for David Jackson Hendricks Jr., 24, of Minden, Louisiana, formerly of Magnolia, will be at 2 p.m. today at Village Cemetery, under the direction of Baileys Funeral Home.

Service for Christine Hogan, 97, of El Dorado, will be at 2 p.m. today at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in the Caledonia Community with the Rev. Larry Richmond officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

Services for Katie Petitto, 35, of Magnolia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Pamela Estes and Father Edward D’Almeida officiatin­g. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Obituaries WILLIAM NOBLE

William “Ray” Noble was born at the Medical Center of South Arkansas to Mattie Noble and the late Hozie Noble Jr. He was called home to eternity on Friday, April 7, 2017.

At an early age he joined the Mount Union

Baptist Church.

“Ray” was a graduate of the Junction City

High School. He was known for his outstandin­g pitching performanc­e on the baseball field. In his time of being on the field he was the pitcher who lead the Junction City High School Baseball Team to the 1978 State Championsh­ip with a score of 24 – 0 which no other high school has accomplish­ed this in 40 years. At this time Junction City High School sports played every conference from 2A – 6A.

“Ray” worked at many places throughout his life. He was most defiantly a “Jack Of All Trades” but Master to none.

His memories will be cherished by his mother, Mattie Noble of Junction City; two sons, Harlandus Frazier of Junction City and Orlando (Jasmin) Hill of El Dorado; two sisters, Eleanor Franklin and Alice Hunter, both of Junction City; one brother, Michael Noble; seven grandchild­ren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His best friend, Derwin Farris, with “Billie Jean,” whom will miss him dearly.

Public visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at Sims Mortuary.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at New Mount Union Baptist Church in Junction City with the Rev. Doug Marsh, eulogist. Interment will be in Community Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook online at www.simsmortua­ry.com.
