THURSDAY Lions Club Golf membership drive

Arkansas Master’Singers in concert

First Baptist Church of El Dorado will sponsoring the Arkansas Master’Singers at 7 p.m. on April 20 at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium, located at 100 W. Eighth St. The public is invited to attend this free concert. The Arkansas Master’Singers, with over 200 voices in the group, consists of ministers of music/worship leaders, directors, accompanis­ts, choir leaders, pastors, staff members and staff spouses from Arkansas Baptist Churches in every corner of the state and all places in between. FRIDAY RSVP dance features L&N Express

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program will hold its RSVP Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 21, in the Champagnol­le Landing Senior Center, 910 E. 4th St. in El Dorado. The dance is for ages 55 and older and will feature the music of Lewis & Nutter. Admission is $6 per person. No smoking, no alcohol.

Southern Koast plays Club 10

The local duo Southern Koast with members Susan Tolin and Keith Owens, will play from 8 to midnight on Friday, April 14, at the American Legion Club 10, located in the American Legion at 105 Christian drive in El Dorado. Everyone over 21 is invited. Cover charge is $8. Remember, American Legion Bingo is held every Thursday at 5 p.m.

The El Dorado/Union County Chamber of Commerce will host an Administra­tive Profession­als Appreciati­on luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in the El Dorado Conference Center. Northwest Elementary hosts Disney World raffle, prized valued at $5,000

Northwest Elementary is hosting a raffle fundraiser through April 28 with a Disney World vacation as the winning prize. A winner will be drawn during Field Day activities on May 5 at Northwest. The winner will work with a pre-specified travel agent to customize a trip for a value of $5,000 that meets the winning family’s needs. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at Northwest Elementary office, from teachers to students or at Parks and Company, located at 441 N. Washington. Turn Your Lights Blue kicks off May 6

May is Foster Care Awareness Month, and Union County will mark the event with a Turn Your Lights Blue event, held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6, on the Union County Courthouse steps. The event is sponsored by CASA, The Call in Union County, Agape House and the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
