• Bethlehem Baptist Church: The Bethlehem Cemetery Association will have a business meeting at 10 a.m. on May 6 at the church in the Spotsville Community. Everyone with family members buried in the cemetery and those wishing to acquire a plot, is urged to attend. • Calvary Missionary Baptist Church: A appreciation celebration for minister of music, Mark W. Massey Sr., for 14 years of services, will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 4632 Arkansas 376 South, Louann.
• Church of Love: Daughters of Destiny Women’s Outreach Ministry will be held at the church, 803 E. Main, El Dorado, at 6 p.m. on Monday. The theme will be “Life Changing Experience.”
• Divine Faith Fellowship Full Gospel Baptist Church: A fifth Sunday fellowship service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1218 E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. The speaker will be Bishop J. Anthony Grant from the Greater New Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.
• Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church: The 156th Holy Ghost Convocation will convene at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Caledonia Community starting at 11 a.m. On Sunday, May 7. Morning services will be led by Pastor Silas Duke of the Northwest Baptist Church in El Dorado. Afternoon services begin at 2:30 p.m. led by Apostle Larnell Grayson of The New Life Worship and Deliverance Center in Junction City. There will be a limited foot washing during the morning and afternoon services and there will be a holy feast between the morning and afternoon events. The public is invited to come and celebrate the presence of the Holy Ghost.
• Evergreen Ministries International: The first annual Men’s Conference will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1510 S. Jackson, El Dorado. Special guests will include the Hamburg Male Chorus. Everyone is invited.
• First Baptist Church: A city/county wide fellowship revival will be held Sunday through Friday at the church, located at 620 Cordell St., El Dorado. The event will start at 6 p.m. on Sunday and at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The speaker on April 30 will be George Calloway and music will be by the Friendship District Male Chorus, Next Generation FACC and St. James’ Choir. On Monday, the speaker will be Pastor John Elliott, with music by Beulah Grove Wesson Choir, Douglas Chapel Choir and Mount Calvary Choir. On Tuesday, the speaker will be Pastor John Elliot and music will be provided by Beulah Grove Parnell Choir, Bethlehem Choir and Changing Life Ministry Choir. On Wednesday, the speaker will be Pastor Anthony Traylor with music by First Baptist of Huttig Choir, First Baptist Church of Cordell Choir and New East Side Choir. On Thursday, the, speaker will be Pastor Ray Johnson, with music by New Providence Choir, St. John Choir and Star Light Choir. On Friday, the speaker will be Pastor Lennie Clemons and music will be provided by Morning Start No. 2 Choir, Batts Chapel Choir and Wesson Street Church of God in Christ Choir. Part of the funds raised this year during the revival will be used to give scholarships to students graduating in May.
• Galilee Baptist Church: A fifth Sunday night singing will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 117 Galilee Road, El Dorado. There will be solos, choirs and congregational singing and a time of fellowship will be held after the singing. The public is invited to attend.
• Green Grove Assembly of God: A southern gospel concert featuring Heartland will be held at 7 tonight. A fish fry will be held at 5:30 p.m. before the event.

• Hosanna Baptist Church: The 25th pastor and wife appreciation will be held for Jerry and Gracie Ross at 2:30 p.m. on May 7 at the church. Special guest will be Pastor Daniel Willis and members of the congregation of Union Mission Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.
• New East Side Baptist Church: An annual youth day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1316 Martin Luther King, El Dorado. Pastor Anthony Thompson and members of the Union Arc Baptist Church of Dodge City will be the guests for the event. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend.
• New Life Deliverance and Worship Center: An annual friends and family day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 8388 Junction City Highway, El Dorado. Special guest will be Elder Maurice Weston and Showers of Blessings Ministry. Lunch will be served at 1:30 pm. Everyone is invited.
• St. Mark United Methodist Church: The fifth Sunday potluck lunch will be served following morning services on Sunday at the church, located at 2010 W. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Guests are welcome.

• West Hillsboro Church of Christ:
A special speaker, Pastor Ed Sexton Jr., will be giving a lesson on “Who do you think you are?” during the morning service on Sunday at the church. A potluck lunch will be provided after the service. There will not be an evening service.
