Notice of Passing JEFF D. HUST

Jeff David Hust, 51, of Three Creeks, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at home.

A memorial and Masonic service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at The El Dorado Municipal Auditorium under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors and with James Sparks and Brandon Gurley officiating.

After 44 years, the DNA identified remains of SMSgt Robert Thomas (Tommy) Elliott, an El Dorado native and a casualty of the Vietnam War, and he will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Arlington Memorial Cemetery. Elliott’s parents were the late John Thomas and Almeda Crowder Elliott, also of El Dorado.

Funeral for The Rev. James Thomas “Jim” Ford, 97, of Norphlet, will be held at 9 a.m. today at Norphlet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation for Donnie Wade Hicks, 61, of Lillie, Louisiana will be held at 1 p.m. today at Perry’s Funeral Chapels with a memorial service immediately following.

Cremation services were entrusted to Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
