Problem in Washington

-

To The Editor:

What is the problem with the people in Washington D. C. that we pay all that money to be clueless as to what is going on right under their noses? Like I have told everybody that has asked me, I do not fault Mr. Trump for all his wrongdoings. Any person that has the desire to should do any and everything they can to come out on top, if the people and law enforcement will do nothing to stop them. Everything Mr. Trump has done has been wrong and outside the lines of what is fair and just. But if no one cares enough to stop him, then he should be the dictator he desires to be. I don’t agree with him, but he has the right to act anyway he wants. Power to him!

Republicans and many others for bombing Syria praised Mr. Trump. Do you remember when he called Mr. Obama weak and dumb for telling Isis what he planned to do before he striking their strong holds and Republicans agreed with him? Well guess what, I heard no complaints when Mr. Trump called Vladimir Putin in Russia to ask if it would be ok if the U.S. Military conducted strikes in Syria. Putin gave the ok after all equipment and personnel were moved from that area.

Anybody who thinks Mr. Trump is not going to fire everybody he can that is investigating his Russia connection I have a golden goose to sell you for just ten thousand dollars. Mr. Trump get no blame from me, I blame congress. The first law of nature is self-preservation. Mr. Trump is doing anything he can in away to try to obey that law, no matter whom he steps on.

Listening devices have always been in place in the White House. Mr. Trump did not put them there and he cannot have them removed. It’s apart of the Nations National Security System. They are not in every room in the White House. In Mr. Trump’s dinner meeting with FBI Director James Comey, the conversation was recorded. It stands to reasoning that Mr. Trump just forgot about the devices. But when he started telling the public things about the meeting and what was said, someone reminded him of the listening devices. It would be my guest that Mr. Trump made some very incriminating comments and demands to FBI Director James Comey. Now that Mr. Trump realizes that these comments and demands are on tape, he wants to keep Director Comey silent with a meaningless warning.

It was not a formal meeting, a security meeting or a meeting in performance of Director Comey’s official duties, so Director Comey is at liberty to disclose anything that was said at that dinner meeting. Director Comey know the law, he knows he can reveal whatever was said at that dinner professionally he probably wouldn’t.

What I feel is more frustrating is that the media is still giving Mr. Trump a pass by not stating the facts as they are, and trying to paraphrase the facts so Mr. Trump won’t look incompetent. Ralph Williams El Dorado
