Ruby Willodine Peterson, 83, of EL Dorado passed away May, 18.
Services will be under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Crestview Baptist Church in Farmerville, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
LORA ELLIOTT
Services for Lora Elliott, 76, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Frienship Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana with the Rev. Fletcher Thomas and the Rev. Samuel Ellsworth officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville and family hour (wake) will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church in Bernice.
Obituaries TYREI J. CLARK
Tyrei Jai Clark was born on Aug. 16, 2010 to J’Mia Green and Tyron Clark. He was a joyful child with a pure spirit. He attended ECCEL for four years before h e enrolled as a kindergartner at Northwest Elementary School. Though he didn’t make it to graduation, he excelled as a student and made a lot of progress.
Tyrei was best known for being very active and loving. He touched everyone he came across and you had no choice but to love him. Even without words he expressed his love and showed it. Whether it was stealing your drink or stealing your fries out of the basket, he was a blessing to all.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Renee Green; his great-grandmother, Jimmie Mae Holt; and great-aunt, Veronica Kizzee.
Tyrei leaves to cherish his memory, his grandfather, Mitchell Brown (Nacheal); his parents, J’Mia A. Green and Tyron Clark; his brother, Tyron “boogie” Clark; his uncles, Warren Jarrod Van Hook, Jarrel Green, Jeremiah Green, Aprentice Harris, Gregory Harris, II, Vincent Pierce, Victor Pierce, Jalen Brown, Tyoine Cook, Marquese Jackson, Jamaree Brown, Keldon Hampton, and Kevin Hampton; his aunts, Vashawn Pierce, Alexis Green, Chauncie Pierce, LeTashia Pierce, Jamin Brown, and Jakira Brown. He also leaves a host of cousins, other family members, friends and the Northwest Elementary School family.
A balloon release in honor of Tyrei J. Clark will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Northwest School.
Vistiation will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. today at Sims Mortuary.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at the Morning Star Baptist Church.
Services have been intrusted to Sims Mortuary Inc.
THELMA J. COLE
Thelma Jean ClarkCole, 79, of El Dorado and formerly of Calion, transitioned from earth to glory on May 16, 2017 at Life Touch Hospice surrounded by her loved ones.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Audrey Clark. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ginnie Bell and Ethel; and five brothers, Booker T., J.B., Joe B., Jay T., and Elmer.
Thelma was loved by all that knew her. She was a very kind-hearted, humble person.
She loved her family, collecting dolls, cooking and fishing.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted daughter, Linda WileyFields, three grandchildren, Joseph (Rosetta) Cole of Calion, Ebonee Fields-Bell, and Seaborn Fields of El Dorado; three great-grandchildren, Za’Laiah, Za’nylah and Saniya, all of El Dorado; one sister, Mary Jones; one brother, Lewis ( Mary) Clark of Strong; one special niece, Shelia Hall-Wright of El Dorado; and special friends, Ethel Thompson and Tyana Sims.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Beulah Grove Church, on Parnell Road with Pastor Luther Harris officiating.
Interment will be at Jerusalem Quinn Cemetery. Repast will be at Beulah Grove Church.
Services are entrusted to Paradise Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana.
Family will be at 400 N. Bradley, El Dorado.
