Obituaries RUBY LAMBERT

Ruby "Carol" Lambert, 76 of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Timberlane Health & Rehab.

Born February

8, 1941 in Smackover, she was the daughter of Ernest and Nellie

Lee Flournoy

Swilley. Mrs. Lambert was a retired supervi- sor with Murphy

Oil Corp. She was active in the Desk & Derrick and the American Heart Associatio­n. She was also active in the United Way, entertaini­ng and yodeling while portraying "Molly Montana". Mrs. Lambert was an active member of Lisbon United Methodist Church and loved being able to help with their Wednesday night youth group.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband James Edward Lambert and a great-grandchild, Carson James Lambert.

Survivors include a son, Todd Lambert (Regina) of El Dorado; three brothers, Frank "Buck" Swilley (Eva Nell), W. T. "Bill" Swilley (Francille) all of El Dorado, and Calvin Swilley of Smackover; three sisters, Mary Nell Benton of Camden, Helen Darden of Lisbon, and Dianne Haynie (George) of El Dorado. Survivors also include grandchild­ren Austin Lambert (Heather) of Smackover and Haley Rowan (Bryce) of Lisbon, along with two great-grandchild­ren, Alex Rowan and Greyson Lambert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Lisbon United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Hall officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Lisbon Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Young’s.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials be made to the Lisbon Cemetery Associatio­n, 7208 Mt. Holly Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.

HAROLD WILLIAMS

Harold T. Williams, 81, of El Dorado passed away Friday, May 26, 2017.

Tom was born

January 5, 1936 to Thomas

Elliott Williams and Dessie Lee Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Elliott Williams .

Survivors include his wife, Betty Williams; his mother, Dessie Williams; his daughter, Karen Williams Harrell; grandson, Austin Harrell (Amber) ; great grandson, Kressen Harrell and four step great grandchild­ren, Austin, Houston, Jackson and Jonah; one brother , Bobby E. Williams (Jean).

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30 from 5-7pm at Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, May 31 at Parkview Baptist Church with Bro. Ken Overton and Bro. Bob Inman officiatin­g.

Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

The family would like to say Thank You to Timberlane Health and Rehab as well as all the physicians and nurses that took care of Tom. They would also like to thank special friends for all their love, prayers and support.

JAMES CLARENCE BASS, JR

James Clarence Bass, Jr, 51 of Norphlet died Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Medical

Center of South Arkansas in El

Dorado.

25, 1966 in Smackover he was the son of

James C. Bass,

Sr. and Dorothy

Lee Cox Bass.

Mr. Bass had been employed as a roughneck in the oil fields. He enjoyed fishing and his canine companion, Poochy. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lisa Kay Davis Bass.

Survivors include two sisters, Rhonda Chadwick (Wade) of El Dorado and Beth Bates (John) of Norphlet and two brothers, Dewayne Bass of Batesville, AR and Ulman Eugene “Buc” Buchanan of Austell, GA along with several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation services entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
